After several years living by the sea in North Devon, England (where Simon grew up), we now live with our children Victoria and Noah, in Stefanie’s home village of Fiss. With many years of experience and qualifications in tourism, hospitality, ski instructing, retail and fluency in both english and german we believe that Chalet Alpenblick is the ideal starting point for your well earned holiday.
With the combination of breathtaking scenery, the countless activities on offer and the excellent standard of cuisine in the local restaurants, our comfortable, fully furnished apartments in peaceful surroundings, with south facing patios are sure to make you feel at home.
Our idyllic setting on the forest’s edge and adjoining flower filled meadows, is also only just a couple of minutes walk away from the gondolas. In winter we are one of the very few chalets which can genuinely boast “door step” skiing, and a small button lift and beginners area directly next to your apartment.

Our newly built apartments have under floor heating throughout, courtesy of solar energy and biomass pellets. In order to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible, our apartments contain the following:
Apartment ONE and TWO
- ground floor apartment with south facing views and patio
- in apartment ONE, 2 double bedrooms (one en-suite) , in apartment TWO, one 3 bedded room and one double en suite
- 2 bathrooms with shower, toilet, washbasin, heated towel rails and hairdryer.
- lounge/dining area with large sofa bed, TV and radio hifi
- separate kitchen with electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, etc.
- all linen, cutlery, crockery, bath and hand towels (changed once per week if required)
- all electric, heating, and refuse disposal costs
- on site parking
- in house heated ski and boot room
- cots and highchairs available on request
- internet acces via voucher purchase

Our newly built house is situated slightly above Fiss, to the west of the village. Whether it be sports or pure relaxation, our position next to the ski slopes and the starting point for numerous walks and bike trails offers something for everyone.

Having turned off the main road (B180) at Ried, turn right over the river and follow the road (11 bends) up to Fiss.
Stay on the main road until you reach Junction D and the Medical Center on your left. Turn right at this junction and follow the road until you reach the Dorfalm Restaurant on your right. Here turn left and follow the road straight ahead. Drive past the Alpenresort Schlosshotel and turn immediately right into Chalet Alpenblick.
